There are a number of reasons why you may be unable to see the ‘message sync’ button. The first reason is that that contact might not have been Hubrised over to your HubSpot.
How to do this
Go to the contact’s profile and click on the Hubris button. Then click on ‘create contact’.
Once you’ve created the contact, go back to your LinkedIn messages. You should see a ‘Sync with HubSpot’ button next to the contact. Click on this button and all of the messages between you and that contact will be moved over to HubSpot.
When you view that contact’s profile in Hubspot, you will be able to view all of the messages that you have synced.
The second reason you may be unable to see the ‘message sync’ button on a contact is that they are not in your 20 most recent contacts list.
You can only sync messages from the 20 most recent contacts you have messaged. The next time you message a contact, they will move to the top of the list in LinkedIn messages. Once this has happened, the sync button will appear.
If you still don’t see the button, you may need to add that contact into your HubSpot.
